Course Syllabus
Project Duration: 1 Semester
Weekly Timing: Every Saturday, 10am-12pm
Part 1: Songwriting course (7-8 weeks)
Part 2: Studio Production (7-8 weeks)
Cost: Participants pay a token sum of SGD$100, of which SGD$50 will be refunded upon project completion.
“Songwriters” have to go through the course and commit for the full duration of the project.
Objective: The Song Writing programme provides the students with exposure to basic song structure, song-writing techniques, & different styles of song composing using suitable arrangements of music.

Introduction to song composing
Basic knowledge of solfege & rhythm

Formation of simple chord progression
Basic knowledge of song structure

Singing & playing a simple song
